Welcome to Fagagna
After having lived in many places around the world we decided to stop in Fagagna, a village in the Friuli hills a stone throw from Udine and San Daniele. And here, my family and I, have decided to open our home to guests: an excellent starting point for discovering Friuli Venezia Giulia, a fascinating region with its mountains, lakes and the sea. A region rich in history and famous for its food and wine.
Moreover, Fagagna is the country of cheese par excellence and in September you cannot miss the traditional donkey race, a race that takes place in our village since more than 130 years.
Our structure
This carefully restored old barn combines rustic features with modern comforts. It is a two-storey house that offers three bedrooms with private bathrooms on the lower floor, a living room with fireplace, a kitchen and a bathroom on the first floor and a play/relaxation area with sofa bed on a mezzanine located above the living room, that can be eventually set up as another room.
Location
The house is comnpletely independent, but next to the owners house with whom you share the wonderful garden. A stone throw from the center of Fagagna, it is an excellent starting point for walks in the hills. The property does not have any private parking, but just outside the property there are lots of free parking on the road.

Friuli Venezia Giuliait is a region to be discovered: full of wonderful landscapes with its lakes, mountains and sea. A region rich in history and traditions and famous for its wines and its gastronomic specialities.
