Fagagna is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and is an ideal place to relax and to take pleasant walks in the surrounding hills. Excellent starting point for rediscovering the beauties of Friuli Venezia Giulia halfway between the mountains and the sea. In Fagagna you can visit the stork oasis, the Cjase Cocel museum of peasant life and the various castles in the surrounding area. Inevitable to taste the Fagagna cheese in one of its dairies, there are three. In Fagagna there is also the Udine Golf Club, an 18-hole course surrounded by greenery. San Daniele is only a few kilometers away and it is worth stopping to taste its excellent ham.

In September, Fagagna comes alive for the traditional palio of the villages and the donkey race that has been run in the town for over 130 years.
